The Pro-Adjuster The Pro-Adjuster is the most advanced Chiropractic Analysis and Treatment Technology ever developed. I was the 15th doctor in Canada to make this investment for my patients and the second doctor to have add a second Pro-Adjuster to their clinic. There are about 900 Pro-Docs in the U.S. and around 3000 world-wide. For most patients, they will love this new way of analysis and adjusting. Here's the link for more information on the Pro-Adjuster: www.pro-adjuster.us. Here are some commonly asked questions about the Pro-Adjuster technology: How does it work? The Pro-Adjuster puts a small force (6 pounds) into each vertebra and it senses the feedback from the bone as to how resistive it is to that force. It also measures the quality of motion of the bone(too much or too little), and also the smoothness of the joint motion. This information is displayed graphically to show the doctor which joints are not "playing along" in spinal function. The doctor then selects the joints for adjustment and the instrument uses REPETITIVE adjustments to restore joint function. As the instrument is adjusting, it's also sensing the motion. When 10 oscillatory adjustments are within tolerance, the sensor has deemed joint motion restoration to have occured and it shuts off automatically. The doctor chooses which bones to be adjusted and the force to use, and the instrument chooses what FREQUENCY to use and HOW MANY adjustments to perform. The doctor then RECHECKS the spine to see how well the adjustment worked. This level of accountability is a FIRST for Chiropractic. Where can I find more information? Ask Lorri or Margaret for a book, pamphlet or magazine on the Pro-Adjuster. You can also click on this link: www.pro-adjuster.us . Further, you can email me a question at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . How can something so gentle be effective? Think of a 'jackhammer' versus a 'sledgehammer'. Both are effective, one uses many pulses of less force. Consider how a woodpecker can make a hole in the hardest of trees. Also, this instrument is so advanced, that it adjusts in the subharmonic frequency of the subluxated joint. This is complicated, but consider two children swinging on a swingset. One's swinging fast and another is swinging slowly. If you push on the child's back in the same frequency of the child's swinging, then the child barely feels you. The pro-adjuster works similarly by pushing on the joint every 5th, 6th, or 8th(etc.) wave of the joint's frequency. It's in a subharmonic: like pushing on the child every 2nd or 3rd swing - but in that child's frequency - so it's comfortable. With manual adjustments, I only have one frequency to offer the joint: MINE. I'm as fast as I can be, but I'm not as fast as the Pro-Adjuster. Force = mass times acceleration. If it's fast, it does not have to be big. Who is the Developer? ![]() Dr. Maurice A. Pisciottano expanded on Dr. V. Pierce's work and used engineers like Tom Becse to utilize the NASA engineering to apply it to the human frame. Are you doing this exclusively now? Nope. It's my primary assessment tool and I'll adjust almost all patients with the Pro-Adjuster initially before manual care begins nevertheless. I know that some patients will still require some maneuvers that the Pro-Adjuster cannot do. I have found that for most patients (95%) they will do well with Pro-Adjuster visits. For some, I have found a combination might be necessary. Others, for whatever reason, may not wish to take advantage of the new technology. No problem. I didn't trade my hands in when I made the investment. I can still do everything I could do before, but much more!! |
